Helium Arts is seeking to employ a professional, multi-disciplinary Visual Artist with a strong collaborative and inclusive arts practice working with children and young people including children with disabilities to join our Creative Health Programme.

This position is part-time, 28 hours a week, for 2-3 years, working across outpatients and in community settings, based in Galway City, due to begin in April 2021. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of arts and health practice, possess strong administration and relationship building skills, and have the ability to produce an annual, high quality, collaborative artwork.

Training and continued professional development will be provided throughout employment, with up to four required training days to take place in early 2020.

Helium Arts is the national children’s arts and health charity, developing the creativity of children living with long-term conditions to support wellbeing including their social connections, self-esteem, and sense of agency.
