Eoin Glackin Announces The Workmans Cellar show on Sat 27 Nov.

Dublin-born singer-songwriter, Eoin (pronounced: Owen) Glackin celebrates the release of his new single Our Way, an uplifting reminder that the future is unwritten. “Although we’ve certainly missed out on a lot over the course of the pandemic, a positive has been that people have had time to reconsider the track that certain aspects of their lives were on. Both small and big choices have been given fresh perspectives, and there’s no harm in that. That’s where this song comes from, realising that our future really is ours and nobody else’s. It’s a call to embrace that feeling of uncertainty and just follow your own feet,” says Glackin.

The song is produced by Justin Adams (Tinariwen, Jah Wobble), an acclaimed blues and world-music producer, musician and long-time collaborator of music legend Robert Plant: “Myself and Justin first hit it off chatting about Mississippi John Hurt, the great folk and blues musician whose work I’ve come to admire more and more over the past few years. I’ve been having a great time picking Justin’s brain about all things folk and blues.”

The new song builds on the momentum of Glackin’s recent string of acclaimed single releases including How Quick the World Can Change, Before the Rain and Dublin in the Sun all of which featured in heavy rotation on Irish and UK radio stations including Today FM, RTE, Spin, 98fm, TalkRadio and the BBC.

A relentless tourer, Glackin has shared the road with legendary acts like The Darkness, Joan Armatrading and Irish icons, Aslan. He’s set to play a hometown show in The Workman’s Cellar on 27 Nov.
