
Scott Trust Bursary
The Guardian Foundation is offering the Scott Trust Bursary to support students from underrepresented backgrounds in pursuing a postgraduate qualification in journalism.
The bursary includes tuition fees, living expenses of up to £6,741, paid work placements at the Guardian, and a mentor. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and come from a background underrepresented in the media, such as lower socio-economic, Black, Asian, ethnic minority, LGBTQ+, or disabled groups.
Eligible courses are available at universities including City University London, Goldsmiths College, and University of Sheffield. Applications are open until 24th March 2025.
