Fingal County Council, in partnership with Children’s Books Ireland and the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, invites applications for the 2025 Children’s Books Bursary. This bursary is open to mid-career children’s book authors or illustrators working in English or Irish. The opportunity includes a one-week residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre (either 3–10 November or 17–24 November 2025) and a €325 stipend. Applicants must be from, have studied in, or currently reside in Fingal. A selection panel comprising representatives of the partner organisations will assess applications.
