Big Noise Govanhill is looking for a Musician/Teacher (Percussion) to join the team on a temporary basis.

You will work as part of the dynamic team in Big Noise Govanhill delivering a visionary, socially driven children’s orchestra centre. You will work with children from pre-school, primary school, secondary school, and adults. Being creative in designing and introducing new ways of learning you will use the orchestra to grow children’s confidence, respect, aspiration, drive and understanding. As part of the team you will develop innovative ways to engage children and families, including home visits and community performances.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you must have experience of working with large and varied groups of children along with a track record of success in giving music instruction to children on your specialist instrument.

This is a one year temporary post, working Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
