‘TarantaCeltica’ an ensemble of world class multi instrumentalists whose live performance unites the hypnotic rhythmic energy of Southern Italian Tarantella and the uplifting boldness of the Irish Tradition, to create an ecstatic high energy hybrid of passion and joy.
Led by master percussionists Andrea Piccioni and Dave Boyd, this ensemble draws inspiration from the singing and dance music of Calabria and Puglia, and from the rich and textured repertoire of Irish jigs, reels, polkas and songs.
