Join the BBC Concert Orchestra and conductor Martin Yates for an evening of beautiful English music in the stunning surroundings of Dorchester Abbey.

Among the pieces in the programme are world premiere performances of Robin Milford’s Symphony No. 2, Vaughan Williams’s The Blue Bird and Lord Berners’ Portsmouth Point. Violinist Sergei Levitin, Concert Master of the Royal Opera House, gives the world premiere of Stanford’s Violin Concerto in D of 1875.
