Arts Council England is hiring a Senior Officer, Music Education to be based in any Arts Council office (Manchester, Birmingham, London, Nottingham, Bristol, Newcastle, Cambridge, Brighton).

As the Senior Officer, Music Education, you will support planning, programme management, and stakeholder engagement nationally in relation to music education. In this Senior Officer, Music Education role, you will also support the vision, outcomes, and investment principles in Let’s Create, the Arts Council’s 10-year strategy, and the Government’s National Plan for Music Education.

To succeed in this Musical Education Officer role, you will need an in-depth knowledge and experience of music education and an understanding of the current challenges and opportunities facing it. You will also need to be effective in developing relationships with organisations at all levels and have the personal credibility, communication, and analytical skills to provide advice and support on the artistic and operational challenges they face.
