Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra is hiring a Senior Development Officer.

The successful candidate will have gained solid individual-giving or major-donor experience in their first or second jobs. They will be keen to make their mark and take responsibility for helping to expand the Orchestra’s individual-giving programme

You will be motivated, love music and have huge enthusiasm for the BSO’s work, both on stage and in the community. You will need to be a natural relationship-builder, have emotional intelligence, and understand what it takes to retain, develop and secure the support of individual donors. Superb written and verbal communication skills are a must. Finally, they’re looking for someone who is highly organised and analytical – able to spot new opportunities from supporter data and turn those insights into fresh new fundraising initiatives.
