Achill International Harp Festival 2019 will take place this year from 25 to 28 October, across a variety of venues in Achill, Co. Mayo.

Events include concerts followed by a late-night festival club, recitals, harp workshops, masterclasses, dance and song workshops, family music workshops, talks, walks, exhibitions, archives and more. 

International tutors for 2019 are Catriona McKay (Scotland), Ben Creighton Griffiths (Wales) and Alberto De La Rosa (Mexico). They will join Irish tutors Kathleen Loughnane, Elaine Hogan, Síle Denvir, Úna Ní Fhlannagáin and Laoise Kelly.

Other artists performing and teaching at the festival include Liam Ó Maonlaí, Ross Ainslie, Diarmaid Moynihan, Nell Ní Chróinín, Martin Brunsden and five piece Mexican band Tlen Huicani.  

Those participating in the four-day harp-making workshop will make and take home their very own 26-string Achill harp.
