Described by HOTPRESS magazine as “a marriage of folk and country with a hint of the blues with delicious harmonies and nimble guitar playing’’ husband and wife duo The Remedy Club, comprising Kj McEvoy and Aileen Mythen have recently released their third album Back To You. The songs see them broaden their sonic palette with strings and brass and features some notable Irish musicians including Aongus Ralston on bass (The Waterboys), Binzer Brennan on drums (The Frames) and Michael Buckley and Ronan Dooney on brass (Van Morrison). The album was co - produced by Gavin Glass in Orphan Studios, Wexford. While their second album was recorded in Nashville, musically this new chapter sees them heading towards Memphis and New Orleans with nods to Fleetwood Mac along the way carving out their own authentic path in Irish music.

The duo’s first two albums Lovers, Legends and Lost Causes and True Hand True Heart were independently released by the duo to great critical acclaim in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US - ‘’My new favourite duo of all time (ROCKING MAGPIE, UK), ‘Outstanding’ (NO DEPRESSION, US). Their sophomore album True Hand True Heart was recorded in Room and Board studios, Nashville and produced by 5 – time Grammy award winner Ray Kennedy (Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, Sheryl Crow).
