Fulbright – Heritage Council Professional Scholar Award
Professionals with a minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience or a PhD in the cultural heritage sector are invited to apply for the Fulbright-Heritage Council Professional Scholar Award.
This opportunity allows scholars to undertake study or research in fields such as museum practice, archival practice, digital preservation, traditional skills preservation, material conservation, folklife, and oral history in the United States. Applicants must commit to spending between four to five months at a U.S. host institution. Preference is given to candidates without extensive prior experience in the U.S. Eligible applicants must be Irish citizens or E.U./U.K. citizens residing in Ireland for the past five years. Leadership potential and alignment with Fulbright’s principles are essential.
Applications must be submitted by 31 October 2024.
