The centre-piece of Spilt Milk will see six bands and artists perform over two stages at The Model, Sligo’s home of contemporary art and municipal art collection The Niland Collection.

BB84
BB84 is an open door collaboration circling around core members Paddy Shine (Gnod), Moose (Wild Rocket) and George Brennan (Melodica Deathship) and Natalia Beylis (Woven Skull). BB84 means crushing drones, improvised electronic workouts, sparse shards of high end frequencies capable of trepanning audience members and performers alike. The aim is to soar.

Ensemble Economique
Ensemble Economique is California-based musician Brian Pyle. His music is a multidisciplinary trip into the exotic unknown, deeply emotional and intense, moving seamlessly through sound-collage, dark noir pop, and minimal techno. It is experimental music in a very pure form, idiosyncratic and thoroughly humanistic.

Aoife Nessa Frances
Aoife Nessa Frances is a Dublin born musician and singer-song writer. She is inspired by the poetic styles of folk music and psychedelic rock.

Grave Goods
Based between Manchester, Dublin and Belfast, Grave Goods feature current and former members of PINS, Girls Names and September Girls. Taking influence from early post-punk, Sartre and minimalist rock, Their music is visceral, angular, and set against a lyrical backdrop of existential ennui.

Gulpt
Sligo noise phenomenon featuring lead poet Paul Corrigan, Aonghus Morrissey (percussion),
Stephanie English (synths) and Owen Kilfeather (guitar). A quartet that takes precisely one minute to compose one minute of music skewed between no-wave, free improv and avant etc., all shot through with vocals exposing bare-wire feelings in true comedic-anti-comedic spirit.
