Relationship Manager, Music (including Music Education Hubs)
Arts Council England is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Relationship Manager to join the team. This part-time relationship management role comes with a salary of £33,708 (pro-rata) and excellent benefits.
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of funded organisations, including Music Education Hubs and National Portfolio Organisations, monitoring delivery of their funding agreement with Arts Council England; advise applicants and assess funding applications to National Lottery Project Grants and other funding programmes; participate in decision-making panels; and work with colleagues in the Midlands Area and the national Music and Music Education teams to contribute to the development and delivery of ACE’s strategy.
Ideally, you will have some knowledge of the music sector and music education both in and out of schools, significant experience of engaging with arts and cultural organisations, and a good understanding of the cultural sector in England and of the current challenges and opportunities facing it. Specific knowledge and experience of one or more genres would also be desirable (classical and opera; contemporary popular; jazz; world, roots, acoustic, folk and traditional; as well as the grassroots music sector). ACE is particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate relevant knowledge and experience of the music education landscape in England.
