Jazzabelles celebrate International Women's Day

Friday, 8 March 2024, 7.30pm

Fresh from performing in Arthur’s Jazz & Blues pub as part of the the Irish Women in Jazz Podcast, and sell-out gigs all over Dublin, Kenmare and the Crawford Art Gallery last October for the Cork Jazz Festival, Jazzabelles are fast making their mark on the Irish live Jazz music scene since their formation in 2021.

March 8th marks International Women's Day and it's a time for celebration as well as supporting each other. Jazzabelles performance will aim to do that in many ways through launching their album featuring compositions by illustrious women jazz artists such as Alice Coltrane, Carla Bley and Cindy Blackman... CD sales will be entirely donated to support Women's Shelter where they and their children can find refuge from domestic abuse crisis situations.

So come along with your gal pals, gay pals, hubbies and special friends and enjoy a night of chilled Jazz vibes and community!

Our guest performer on the night is acclaimed Jazz pianist and composer local Howthy Luke Howard!
