Sage Gateshead seeks a Projects Coordinator.

Reports to :Senior Producer
Works in conjunction with:
▪ Contemporary & Commercial Programme team
▪ Classical team
▪ Creative Learning team
▪ Colleagues from across Sage Gateshead; External partners as required.

The post-holder will work with the Senior Producer to create high quality events and commissions across a range of genres which develop the creative diversity of Sage Gateshead’s performance programme, and to deliver impactful, inclusion artist development projects. This will include planning and delivery of projects such as Summer Studios, Artists in Residence, diversity- focused conference events, and the New Year New Artists festival.

A primary focus for the team is building relationships with diverse artists, leading to performances and participation in artist development programmes, with a particular focus on disability and socio-economic diversity. Developing systems to support this work and remove barriers to participation is a key part of the role.

The Projects Co-ordinator will work with the Senior Producer to develop, oversee and deliver diverse, new programme content and the artist development offer.
