The University of Glasgow is seeking a Lecturer in Creative Practice in Music (Learning, Teaching & Scholarship Track) within the School of Culture & Creative Arts. This part-time (17.5 hours per week), open-ended position involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, developing curricula, and engaging with the music industry in Glasgow and beyond.

Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent experience, expertise in at least two broad musical genres, and familiarity with teaching creative practice in higher education. Experience as a professional performer and knowledge of the music industries in Glasgow and Scotland are required.

The salary is Grade 7, £40,247 – £45,163 per annum pro rata. Applications must be submitted online by 23:45 on 25 March 2025.
