Sample Studios is seeking an Artistic Director.

The Artistic Director is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational management of Sample-Studios’ 29 workspaces and shared production facilities in Churchfield, as well as our satellite premises at the Lord Mayor’s Pavilion in the city centre. This is a challenging role that demands excellent organisational, leadership and inter-personal skills.

Main Criteria
– A relevant third level qualification or minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a managerial, development or co-ordination role is essential, ideally within the creative sector.
– Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary venue is desirable
– A strong awareness/ experience of the arts/ creative sector is desirable
– Demonstrable experience of successful bursary/grant applications and/or fundraising experience is desirable.
