Gael Linn began broadcasting a series of live videos on their Facebook page every Thursday at 6pm. The series is called ‘Teach le Chéile’, where we will visit well-known singers, musicians and storytellers. The series began on the 7th May and to date we have been in Cúil Aodha with renowned musician, Peadar Ó Riada, in Mín an Iolair with acclaimed sean-nós singer Máire Ní Choilm, in Cork with the well-known storyteller, Pádraig Ó Brian, in Ranelagh with Na Casaidigh - Feargus and his two sons, Maitiú and Stiofán, in the Waterford Gaeltacht of An Rinn, with multi-instrumentalist Caoimhín Ó Fearghail, in Ráth Chairn Glas na Mí with the singing sisters Étáin and Máire Ní Churraoin, also known as 'An Chéad Ghlúin Eile' and in Inis Oírr, Aran, with highly acclaimed sean-nós singer, Lasairfhíona Ní Chonaola.

On this week's episode, we will be joined by the well-known poet and writer, Áine Ní Ghlinn. Áine is the current 'Laurete na nÓg' (Ireland's Children's Literature Laurete) with the Irish Arts Council. She's written over 30 books, including poetry books and novels for teenagers and young adults. She worked as a teacher for a few years before she became a journalist for RTÉ and Raidió na Gaeltachta. She has received many awards. In 2003, she received an award, 'Gradam Chlann Lir', for her work 'Céard tá sa bhosca' (An Gúm, 2002). She received awards at the Strokestown Poetry Festival and at the Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown Poetry Competition. She was awarded 'Gradam Fhoras na Gaeilge' at 'Seachtain na Scríbhneoirí' in Listowel in 2002. She has also received many awards at Oireachtas na Samhna Festival. Amongst her works are the novels 'Fuadach' (Cois Life, 2005), 'Tromluí' (Cois Life, 2009), 'Úbalonga' (An Gúm, 2009) and the children's story 'Boscadán' (Cois Life, 2019).
