Using a 'Crankie box'—a unique storytelling device with scrolling illustrations—this project beautifully marries song and art. Featuring a selection from an archive of 32 songs, one from each county in Ireland, the Crankie Island Project is a musical atlas of the island, highlighting themes of love, loss, rebellion, and revelry. Join Cathy and her virtuostic musical ensemble as part of their nationwide tour this October, blending haunting melodies with captivating visuals for an unforgettable experience.
