Contract: Permanent, working 35 hours per week.

Salary: £32,615 per annum, plus excellent benefits

From hip hop to classical, electronica to grime, folk to drone, prog to psychedelia, we work with artists, producers, promoters and venues to help everyone wherever they are have the opportunity to make and enjoy great music.

We are looking for people who reflect the diversity of the country today, to help us shape and change the music sector to make it more relevant to the people, communities and places we serve.

As a Relationship Manager, Music, you will be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and experience of music and of the music sector.

You’ll have a focus on building, empowering and enduring relationships with a portfolio of funded organisations including music education hubs, and helping to develop the music sector in the north to maintain its vibrant, innovative and diverse range of opportunities.

You will also engage with a range of non-music specific issues, including children and young people, diversity and equality, engagement and learning.

You will be a confident communicator in a wide range of situations and will also have excellent skills in collaboration, influencing and advocacy.

You will also have a good understanding of the cultural sector in England and of the current challenges and opportunities facing it, and excellent skills in collaboration, influencing and advocacy, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
