BBC Northern Ireland’s Irish language department, BBC Gaeilge broadcasts around 250 hours of original live and pre-recorded radio content in the evening schedule on BBC Radio Ulster and Radio Foyle produced by the in-house production team. Our online services include new digital content for learners, second-level exam students, re-versioned CBeebies’ games and newly commissioned multi-genre content including vlogs and shortform features.

Are you the right candidate?
As the successful candidate for this role you will be fluent in written and spoken Irish and English. You will have experience in creating original content with multi-platform (TV/Radio/Online) potential along with a background of working as part of a team and nurturing a positive team dynamic. You’ll have the ability to work flexibly by adapting to new ways of working and of entering data accurately into various business or broadcast systems.
