King's Cross - Massaoke music night on 10 October under West Handyside Canopy
From 1- 10 October, in the build-up to World Homeless Day, New Horizon Youth Centre
and a growing number of King’s Cross businesses, community organisations and residents are
coming together to take on youth homelessness. This will culminate in a Massaoke music night
on 10 October under West Handyside Canopy.
Massaoke is the live band sing-along sensation sweeping the UK. Think karaoke, but a whole
lot bigger, and even more fun… The brilliant band smashes out some of the greatest anthems
of all time, while big-screen lyrics help the crowd to sing along. Expect the ultimate playlist of
the greatest singalong tunes ever composed – from Bonnie Tyler to Bon Jovi, Journey to
Taylor Swift, and everything in between.
This brilliant karaoke band calls their songs ‘Hairbrush Anthems’ from every era: the 60s, 70s,
80s, 90s 00s, right up to the very latest hits. Ticketholders to the event can expect plenty of
glam-rock outfits from the band, confetti cannons and smoke machines.
Get a group together, book and head to Massaoke; all funds collected through event tickets
will be donated to the New Horizon Youth Centre which provides vital support to help with
youth homelessness. There will also be opportunities to donate by using ’tap and give’
machines and donation points in public spaces and participating shops, bars and
restaurants. Find out more about the 10-day takeover and how you can get
involved here.
