Bach : Actus Tragicus : Music in Kilkenny & Camerata Kilkenny

Music in Kilkenny & Camerata Kilkenny are delighted to announce a streamed concert of Bach Cantatas from the beautiful St Canice's Cathedral in Kilkenny.

The concert will be available to stream from Saturday 1st May at 4 pm to Monday 3rd May at 11 am. Tickets €5.00 can be booked through our website - www.musicinkilkenny.org.

We have put together a wonderful team of singers and instrumentalists to perform two of J.S. Bach's sublime Cantatas - Cantata BWV 106 'Actus Tragicus' and Cantata BWV 161 'Komm, du süße Todesstunde'.

Filming and recording will take place, by kind permission of the Dean and Select Vestry, in St. Canice's Cathedral on Monday and Tuesday 26th & 27th April while adhering to strict Covid protocols.
