PRESS RELEASE 21.06.2020
Children Of Dub: FIRE EP

RELEASE DATE: 21/6/2020

Following on from the first digital single “Stay With Me”, is “Fire” the 2nd track lifted from the forthcoming new album “5th Element”. The Fire EP features 2 remixes of the title track as well as the original version; a break-beat remix of the trip-hop track “Rise Up” and Chucky Chrysal’s acoustic mix of “Raving Tonight” which is a radical reworking of the Drum ‘n’ Bass cover version (on the album) of the Gregory Isaacs Reggae classic from 1978.
The original version of “Fire” is in the UK Garage style but with a definite Dub flavour, while
the 2 remixes venture into Trip Hop/Dubstep (Chinaskiz remix) and Trap/Lofi/Dub (Reflector Fidelity remix). The break-beat version of “Rise Up” is remixed by Irish DJ Smit!, while the version of “Raving Tonight” features Drum ‘n’ Bass style live drums, by Chucky Chrysal, who also provides the vocals.
The Forthcoming Album “5th Element” will feature contributions from vocalist Emma Stack, and Chucky Chrysal, and a beautiful Saxophone Solo by Anton Petelchits from Belarus, on the track “Stay With Me” which will be one of the Album’s highlights.

1. Fire (Original Album Mix)
2. Fire (Chinaskiz Remix)
3. Rise Up (Smit! Remix)
4. Fire (Reflector Fidelity Remix)
5. Raving Tonight (Chucky Chrysal Acoustic Mix)
