Universal Music Group is looking for a Dance Music Intern to join the team at the Polydor record label in London.

The intern will work alongside the Head of Dance Marketing and the Director of Streaming to provide support across Polydor’s dance campaigns.

Person Specification:
– Passionate about dance music with a thorough and practical understanding of the genre
– Awareness of platforms such as TikTok, Soundcloud, YouTube, Discord, Twitch
– Appetite for discovering new music, spotting trends and identifying emerging audience behaviours within dance
– Desire to work within both marketing and streaming
– The ability to multitask and learn quickly
– Self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills – confident liaising with suppliers, team members, artists and their management
– Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
– Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
