The Royal College of Music (RCM) is hiring a Major Gifts Manager (Trusts & Foundations).

Reporting to the Head of Major Gifts, the post-holder will develop and coordinate cultivation plans for trusts and foundations, be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of high-value donors, writing proposals, reports, providing excellent stewardship and achieving a personal income target from existing and new potential funders.

The successful candidate will have a systematic approach to fundraising, with excellent attention to detail, writing and organisational skills. They will have a successful track record of 5-6 figure+ support from trusts & foundations and previous experience of working to ambitious KPIs and financial targets. They will have well-developed interpersonal and networking skills with a track record in identifying and maintaining external relationships with key stakeholders and trustees.

The post-holder will be committed to fundraising and cultivation best practices and guided by RCM Development team core values of excellence, integrity and teamwork.

An appreciation of the arts and music, with a desire to immerse yourself in the work and culture of the Royal College of Music is essential.
