BBC Sounds is hiring a Team Assistant.

The Team Assistant will support several senior managers in the Sounds editorial team and provide general business support to the wider team, covering a variety of tasks.

You will ensure that senior managers are able to work as effectively as possible, handling their diaries and booking meetings – supporting 3 senior roles within Sounds.

You will also be flexible to take on a variety of other tasks to support the wider Sounds teams as needed (about 70 staff).

You will be part of a small business team at the heart of Sounds. The ideal candidate will be someone who actively seeks to resolve issues, and enjoys working with a wide variety of people across the organisation at all levels.

You will be based in Salford, working in an agile way, about 2-3 days in the office and the rest from home. You will be able to travel to London about once a month to meet the wider team and maintain the office space there.
