This production is directed by Peter Whelan, Artistic Director of IBO, with step-out solos from the singers of Chamber Choir Ireland.

Through a dramatic series of arias, recitatives, and choruses, Messiah tells the universal story of triumph over trial, where life’s sorrows and despairs are met with overriding hope and unbridled joy. It is Handel at his most brilliant, in a well-paced blend of aria and chorus to perfectly match the arc of the Christian story.
