David Keenan | Drogheda Arts Festival 2023

Saturday, 29 April 2023, 8.00pm

Drogheda Arts Festival are excited to announce David Keenan as one of the 2023 headline acts. We are delighted that David will kickstart his Irish Tour with us in Drogheda

David has been among the most fascinating new Irish artists of the past ten years. A songwriter and lyricist who has continued to defy categorisation by avoiding the obvious. His most recent release "Crude" and previously albums -"A Beginner's Guide to Bravery" and the 2021 follow up "WHAT THEN?" were widely received as critical triumphs

Other works include a collection of poetry "Soundings of an Unnamed Bird" & live album "Alchemy & Prose". He has toured consistently for over five years, building a committed live following throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe and North America.

You get the feeling his songs will be sung and referenced long into the future. This is a live gathering not to be missed. Support on the night is local artist David San Clair.
