Concerts and Programmes Administrator (Maternity Cover)

The Royal Academy of Music seeks a Concerts and Programmes Administrator for a fixed term of maternity cover.

The Concerts and Programmes Administrator is responsible for the sourcing and commissioning of information and timely and accurate production of concert programmes as well as copywriting, collating, proofreading and editing all text for the termly Concerts Diary. The role also encompasses the responsibility for the collection and statutory submission of audience data and provides support for the Director of Artistic Planning in the planning and execution of the Academy’s performance programme.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Music(or equivalent higher level musical qualification with a thorough knowledge of a wide range of classical repertoire, as well as excellent communication skills including a strong competence in written English and basic knowledge of French, German or Italian. You will have previous professional arts administration experience including programme editing and proofreading and be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise and problem solve whilst working to conflicting deadlines. The ability to maintain close attention to detail whilst working under pressure is essential.

Completed applications must be received by 10am Friday 7th August. Interviews are expected to be held week commencing 2nd September.
