Numbered amongst the world’s top symphonic ensembles, the Hallé who have a long-distinguished history of acclaimed and inspiring performances make a much-anticipated return visit to the National Concert Hall for this performance. They will be joined on stage by the Bulgarian conductor, Delyana Lazarova, praised for her passionate performances and dynamic presence. A committed advocate for new music, she conducts the Orchestra in her compatriot Dobrinka Tabakova’s deeply expressive Cello Concerto alongside Mozart’s Haffner and Tchaikovsky’s glorious Pathétique, which the composer declared he had put his “whole soul into...”
