The Magic of Performance Rituals & Routines

Saturday, 3 September 2022, 11.00am

Would you like to develop strong and confident stage presence for performing, teaching or public speaking? Do you find that your delivery and composure can be unreliable, with seemingly unpredictable results? Perhaps you also suffer from the imposter syndrome and would like to access more ways of experiencing and sharing freedom and joy when you make music or “perform” in other life situations. Regardless of whether you are a professional or perform for family and friends, you can incorporate rituals and routines into your preparation structure to build confidence, access calm focussed states and bring your performance to the next level.

· Make an ally of your imposter syndrome
· Learn about the habits of successful musicians and creatives to optimise performance states
· Discover visualisations and grounding practices to build and strengthen confidence
· Find ways to build a distraction-free mindset for optimal focus and flow
· Establish a foundation for strong stage presence to connect with your audience

This hybrid workshop is suitable for performers, presenters and teachers of all levels, as well as anyone looking to build confidence appearing in front of others. The class will be simultaneously offered in person and online, please select your preference when booking.
