Universal Music Group is seeking an Office Assistant for the King’s Cross office in London, to manage and support the IT Publishing department.

Skills & Experience

Be organised
– Ability to process invoices.
– Ability to purchase and renew hardware, software and licenses.
– Ability to arrange travel for all staff (flights, hotels, cars.)
– Ability to process and approve expenses.
– Ad-hoc event planning and organisation.
– Some office management – tracking departmental annual leave and bank holidays, liaising with Facility/ Security/ Welcome Desk teams, organising accesses and set up for new staff and staff leavers, free product, gig orders, courier bookings, room bookings, desk positioning.

Be collaborative
– General communications (office notifications, gig tickets, etc.)

Personal Specification

Essential
– Strong computer skills; MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint.)
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Good numeracy.
– Self-motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic.
– Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
– Flexible and able to prioritise own workload.
– Demonstrates discretion; ability to keep sensitive information confidential, as necessary.
– Ability to work as part of a team.
– Ability to pick up new skills quickly.

Desirable
– To create clear, stylish and graphical presentations.
– Knowledge of UMG systems, including The Globe, Uniport, Room Booking system.
