An installation of postcard pieces created by members of the Irish Composers Collective, curated by Tonnta, with interactive and playful live performances dotted throughout the festival. Free Admission.

The installation will be open to view throughout the festival. There will also be three pop-up performances over the weekend:

Postal Notes highlights the diverse range of artistic practices of the ICC membership, and foregrounds the exceptional performance skills of Tonnta vocal ensemble.

Displayed throughout New Music Dublin, the installation becomes activated intermittently over the festival weekend
with live performance from Tonnta vocal ensemble. Audiences are invited to choose, juke-box style, the pieces they wish to hear.

Tonnta is a music vocal and performance project that collaborates with Ireland’s foremost contemporary vocalists. Lead by artist Robbie Blake, Tonnta grasps the possibilities of the human voice to create live experiences that bring sound, performance, art, mind and body together.

The Irish Composers’ Collective is a non-profit collective of emerging Irish composers. Its main aim is to further the professional and artistic development of its members through composer-performer collaboration and through a wide range of activities such as workshops, mentorship schemes, and concerts.
