The Irish Youth choir is delighted to present its Spring Short Course with special guest Eric Whitacre on the 9th & 10th April 2021.

What's he like, the composer of Sleep, A Boy and a Girl, and Lux Aurumque? Find out for yourself when leading American choral conductor and composer Eric Whitacre joins the IYC's online Spring Short Course as special guest with tips for performing his hugely popular With a Lily in Your Hand.

The course features three online rehearsals, the chance to meet with members of Ireland's only professional choir, Chamber Choir Ireland, and culminates with a virtual performance of With a Lily in Your Hand conducted by Eric Whitacre.

The IYC Spring Short Course is open to all singers of youth choir age (18-28 years) and is especially suited to those intending to apply for this year's summer course.

Course Dates: Friday 9th April 6.30–9pm and Saturday 10th April 3–8pm.

Application and Fees: €40. Apply by April 3rd 2021. There is no audition required.
