The NCH delighted to announce a new series of chamber music concerts, in three uniquely curated series, featuring leading Irish and international composers and chamber musicians to take place this Spring and Summer. 

The first series, which celebrates the return of audiences to the magic of live music, is curated by celebrated Irish pianist and artistic director Fiachra Garvey. Entitled Fantasy and Dreams it draws on music of dreams and dreaming and begins Sunday 20th March. 

In her newly curated three concert series pianist and improviser, Izumi Kimura explores the abstract and concrete in music.

After Beethoven is a special composer-led series which sees leading Irish composers Ann Cleare, Anselm McDonnell, Garrett Sholdice, Ian Wilson and Jane O’Leary respond to Beethoven’s creative legacy. Each concert features a new commission by the composer presented in a concert of their own curation. Presented by the NCH the new commissions are funded by the Office of Public Works and the NCH.
