The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra is recruiting a Section Principal Harp for a full-time, permanent position based at MediaCityUK, Salford. The successful candidate will demonstrate professional orchestral and solo performance ability, knowledge of the orchestra’s repertoire, and the ability to lead and collaborate. Auditions will be held at the BBC Philharmonic studio on 25 June and 28 July 2025. The first round will be screened and include Fauré’s Impromptu Op. 86 and orchestral excerpts. The second round will be unscreened, featuring the Mozart Flute and Harp Concerto and Debussy’s Danse Profane. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted on 1 June 2025.
