Producers and Assistant Producer Pool
BBC Northern Ireland is seeking to establish a pool of Producers and Assistant Producers to work across speech and music-based programming.
As part of the Content Department you can expect to work alongside a range of collaborative colleagues and use your skills across an exciting portfolio of programmes, contributing ideas, undertaking planning, setting up and developing interviews and items, deciding running orders, pre-recording content and – where appropriate - outputting live programmes for broadcast. You’ll be inspired by the challenge of making Ulster/Foyle’s programmes even more attractive and fit for purpose for our audiences.
Main Responsibilities
Generating and developing great ideas that, in turn, deliver great programmes and online content, including for BBC Sounds.
Ensuring programmes become even more reflective of and relevant to our audiences and, therefore, reaching new audiences, in particular younger and female listeners.
Working flexibly, collaboratively and efficiently with the wider Content Production team so that resources generate maximum impact.
Ensuring that output is compliant with BBC Editorial Guidelines, Values and legal requirements.
