Grants of £5,000 to £30,000 are available to businesses, collectives, and not-for-profits working in the music industries.
The fund is designed to help open up access to sustainable careers in music for people aged 18-25, particularly those who are underrepresented; and to support creative employers to innovate and incubate new and diverse talent.
The focus of the fund is on the mutual benefit gained from bringing fresh thinking, creative and entrepreneurial new talent into your workplace or network, while giving 18-25s the opportunity to deliver their own projects and receive support from your organisation through incubation, training, mentoring and networking.
Companies, collectives, sole traders and not-for-profits in the music industries* across the UK are eligible to apply. We’re particularly interested in micro-businesses (between 1-9 employees) and small-scale enterprises (10-49 employees); or groups of these working together as partners (consortiums).
The deadline for Phase 1 applications is 5pm on Friday 14 August 2020. You will be notified of the decision by the end of October 2020. There will be a second phase of funding in February 2021.
