Arts Council England is looking for a new Director for the South East Area of England, to implement their new Let’s Create 10-year strategy.

The South East Area Director is responsible for a budget of £68 million, investing to make a real impact for the arts at all levels in the South East, from Brighton to Cambridge, working with grass-roots organisations to iconic cultural icons. We are keen to speak to people who combine a passion for the arts and the change they can bring, with experience of developing relationships and partnership, and grant-making with a strong emphasis on impact. This experience might have been built in a grant-giver, in local government, in non-profit, in higher education or in the wider cultural sector.

The role needs someone with energy and vision, who comfortable operating at scale, who demonstrates leadership and energy to enthuse a team is key to the role, with a remit in the South East and as part of the National Leadership team.
