Tuesday, 11 February 2020, 10.00am

The London Symphony Orchestra is looking to appoint a skilled and self-motivated Trusts and Foundations Co-ordinator to play a key role within an expanded and newly re-structured trusts and foundations team.

Working closely with the Trusts and Foundations Manager and Head of Strategic Funding, the Trusts and Foundations Co-ordinator will support the implementation of the trusts and foundations strategy – researching potential funders, writing compelling funding proposals, stewarding current supporters, and supporting the evaluation and reporting for projects that have been funded. Excellent writing skills and a passion for engaging written copy are essential, as is an interest in music education and the engagement of people of all ages and backgrounds in the work of the Orchestra.

Joining the LSO at an exciting time in the organisation’s history, the Trusts and Foundations Co-ordinator will play a central role in securing the ongoing sustainability of the LSO’s pioneering education and community programme, LSO Discovery. As part of an expanded team, the Trusts and Foundations Co-ordinator will also support the wider fundraising of the Development Department, helping to steward current and potential supporters at concerts, special events, and LSO Discovery projects taking place across east London.

Salary: £22,000 - £23,600 per annum, dependent on experience.
