The Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) is hiring a Public Affairs & Social Media Officer.

The Public Affairs & Social Media Officer will have great digital and social media skills, and will join the External Affairs team lobbying on Brexit, music education, Covid-19, diversity and copyright.

The ISM has seen considerable growth in recent years, with a current membership of over 11,000 professional musicians. The ISM is known for its campaigning and policy work as well as services ranging from legal advice and advocacy to counselling and professional development.

You will be able to demonstrate significant effectiveness in all aspects of campaigning and digital and social media comms and have up to 3 years communications and public affairs experience. You will be a committed and proactive individual who is happy to go the extra mile to support the music sector as well as having excellent written skills and great attention to detail.

You will be joining a professional staff team who are based in Bayswater, London.
