ENO Chorus Fellowship for Ethnically Diverse Singers

English National Opera is seeking a number of Chorus fellows to join the ENO Orchestra on a 12 month fixed-term contract starting August 2021.

Following auditions, the successful applicants will join the ENO Chorus for a fixed-term contract of 9 months. The Chorus fellow will be expected to do the following:
– Rehearse, sing, perform (including acting and dancing) and understudy (including all staging requirements) for chorus work to include chorus parts/covers, and Baylis Programme.
– Prepare / learn music as necessary and appropriate; rehearse music as required during music and / or production / stage calls.
– Undertake recording/s for audio/visual use.
– Wear costume, wigs and make-up when and as directed at stage rehearsals and performances.

In an average week a member of the chorus will work 8-10 sessions. This will include a variety of music rehearsals, production rehearsals and performances. The working pattern is varied and will include evening and weekend work.

In addition to joining the Chorus the Choristers will have coaching with ENO Music Staff and the opportunity to be considered for small roles and covers.
