ENO Orchestra Fellowship for Ethnically Diverse String Players (12 Month Contract)

English National Opera is seeking five string fellows to join the ENO Orchestra in the following positions on a 12 month fixed-term contract starting August 2021:
– Violin 1
– Violin 2
– Viola
– Cello
– Double Bass
The successful candidate will:
– Play and provide their instrument
– Be an experienced musician
– Have knowledge of the operatic repertoire
– Have a calm, confident and professional manner
In a typical week, the orchestra works up to eight sessions on varying operatic repertoire, and at times other classical repertoire.
