The Dance Bursary Award is available to individual artists and aims to provide support for professionals in the field of dance, regardless of their career stage.

The main objective of this award is to facilitate the growth of artists’ artistic practice. Recipients will be granted the necessary time and resources to engage in thought, research, reflection, and critical exploration of their work within the realm of dance.

Artists from various backgrounds and levels of experience are encouraged to apply for this bursary, as it offers a platform for them to deepen their artistic abilities and further develop their craft. The Dance Bursary Award recognises the importance of providing artists with the necessary space and resources to delve into their artistic process.

Applicants have the potential to receive a maximum award of €20,000, which can be utilised to support their creative journey. This award allows artists to dedicate time and effort to their art practice, fostering an environment conducive to exploration and growth.
