The Young People, Children, and Education Bursary Award, offered by the Arts Council, aims to support the professional growth of artists by providing them with the opportunity to enhance their artistic practice.

The primary focus of this bursary is to assist artists in developing and delivering high-quality arts experiences either with or for children and young people. It welcomes applications from individual artists and practitioners involved in creative endeavors across all art forms. This includes artists, arts facilitators, curators, and programmers.

Applicants can receive a maximum award amount of €20,000, enabling them to allocate time and resources towards the advancement of their artistic practice. The bursary provides a platform for artists to refine their skills and broaden their capacity to create impactful arts experiences for young audiences.
