The BBC National Orchestra of Wales is seeking a Music Librarian for a full-time, permanent position based at Hoddinott Hall, Cardiff.

The role involves sourcing and preparing printed music, managing the music collection, and liaising with the BBC’s Central Music Library. Key responsibilities include ensuring the correct edition and quality of performance materials, maintaining accurate records, and preparing orchestrations.

Applicants must have proven music knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and under pressure. Experience with music notation software and understanding of copyright legislation are desirable. The salary range is £25,400–£36,500, dependent on skills and experience. Applications close on 4 August 2024, with interviews scheduled for 14 August 2024.
