Alan Donnelly’s debut EP “Session One” will release October 30th 2020

"Session One" combines haunting melodies with dark lyrics but also ventures into more playful, tongue-in-cheek pop music. This is an EP of four tracks from a planned future album to be called "The Shadows." The album will be very personal to me and focuses on key moments throughout childhood but also branches into adulthood following a chronological path.

This EP is a cross-section of some of the sounds you can expect from the full album.These tracks have been on the back-burner for many years, I've had two kids between conceptualizing the album and where I am now with my first EP release. While I had always planned on releasing these tracks, there was never a good time. Unfortunately a tragedy in my family would ultimately be the catalyst for the creation of this EP.

"Session One" was written, recorded, produced and mix by myself. Mastering was done by Richard Dowling at WavMastering in Limerick.
