Friday, 25 February 2022, 6.00pm

Scottish Opera is thrilled to welcome the rising stars of UK opera to Glasgow through its partnership with the National Opera Studio. Together, they will explore the theme of Absurdism through some of the most anarchic and off-the-wall pieces in the operatic repertoire.

Directed by Emma Jenkins and accompanied by The Orchestra of Scottish Opera conducted by Head of Music Derek Clark, the 15 exceptional young performers showcase their skills with a fun, energetic programme titled Anarchy at the Opera.

Come and experience the best of the future talent at Theatre Royal Glasgow on Friday 25 February with excerpts from operas including Handel’s Alcina, Offenbach’s Le roi carotte, Poulenc’s Les Mamelles de Tirésias, Shostakovich’s Cheryomushki and more.
